The straight shafted Newport 2.6, appeals to the purist of golfers, with its zero-offset setup incorporates a milled sight dot behind the stepless shaft to give players a reference mark at address-players can use the dot to develop a consistent shaft angle setup and/or stroke. 

The performance-proven Newport 2 head style gives the 2.6 its crisp, familiar lines, including the milled sight line in the flange. With its shaft-over-spud-tip assembly positioned one shaft back from center, the Newport 2.6 maintains the same headweight as other Studio Select Newports with a slightly thicker topline and a quarter toe hang.

Scotty shaved millimeters off the milled spud so your topline view is completely unencumbered by neck or shaft. It's that putter-making experience again, giving the player everything he needs to play. The Scotty Cameron Newport 2, is now available in two colors. The 34 inch is probably the most popular of all the Scotty Cameron range. This model pictured to the right is the 2012 Select Newport 2 but now there is a new model the 2014 Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2 with a new Sea Mist Color and a few subtle cosmetic changes.

It's sleek and low-slung with mechanical lines that appeal to the putting surgeon, wield a Newport 2 and you’re in Tour-company. Many of the world’s best players depend on this design for their livelihood, and it’s no wonder.

The club face on the Newport 2 has a nice feel to it and is not for those golfers who like a soft putt. It’s pretty springy and the ball feels like it jumps off the club face.

The new grip on the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 is a cord grip which is a little firmer. This should give you more accuracy and stability whilst putting. The smooth Studio Design grip fits like a glove and has a great feel to it.

2014 Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2 comes in three lengths, 33, 34, and 35 inches. It has a lie angle of 71° which can be adjusted by a variance of 2 degrees.

The 2012 Scotty Cameron Newport putter use the Select weighting system with red-dot weights in the soles; have stepless steel shafts (of varying bends, depending on model); have standard lie angles of 71 degrees but can be adjusted +/- 2 degrees; and have standard lofts of 4 degrees but can be adjusted +/- 1 degree.
