Phantom X 5 (2019)

Phantom X 5

The evolution of this Tour-proven wingback mallet with a single mid-bend shaft continues with a solid aluminum face anodized in black that extends back into the stepped down flange, framed by misted stainless steel. Three milled topline sight dots painted neon yellow and framed with polished aluminum provide simple but effective alignment to the sweet spot.

A long-time performer on Tour, the 5 design has evolved into this faster-looking, racier model. I wanted to give players exactly what they’ve been asking for—a slightly smaller head with simple sight dot alignment, a wide topline and tapered wings. It sets up really nicely, especially with the new solid aluminum face.

This is the best of all worlds with a mallet putter with perfect weight and perfect balance; this is a very special putter.

The Squareback 1.5 adds a new mini-slant neck to Scotty's Squareback design that further squares off the overall shape and enhances toe flow for the player seeking clean, distinct visual cues and a bit more arc to the stroke. Additionally, the draft angle has been updated to accommodate the new neck, and the face height and topline radius have been reduced for a sleeker, cleaner look. RRP $399

Fastback 2

The Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 is very similar to the Fastback but with a slight variation in the plumbing. It has a new neck along with some very subtle refinements with a slightly thinner look, as well as a reduction weight. The face height has been shortened which gives it a sleeker look.

Futura 5.5M (2017)

Futura 5.5M

There is a new member of the Futura family, the Futura 5.5M - it plays like a blade but it is a mallet putter. It has a  straight shaft with 303 stainless steel body that holds a face plate milled from lightweight 6061 aluminum. The face wraps under the leading edge and becomes the sole. By having a heavier material around the perimeter of the aluminum, the 5.5M is more forgiving and resists twisting on off-center hits more effectively.

The single-bend shaft on the 5.5M produces some toe hang, so it is ideally suited for players who have a stroke that goes inside the target line on the backswing, squares at impact and then goes back to the inside on the follow through.

Get your Futura 5.5 M HERE

The Futura 5.5M offers the forgiveness of a mallet with the feel of a blade and features a neck configuration that promotes a flowing, arced putting stroke more commonly associated with blade style putters.

FUTURA 5.5M DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY FAST FACTS:

• The compact mallet—about 10 percent smaller than the similarly-shaped Futura 7M—is designed for easy alignment with built-in toe flow.
• Shorter single bend shaft configuration for additional toe hang, promoting an arced path and flowing putting stroke.
• Multi-material technology – featuring wrap-around face-sole construction milled from lightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, integrated with precision-milled 303 stainless steel – moves weight back and to the perimeter, allowing for a larger putter head with enhanced high-MOI performance (resistance to twisting during the stroke).
• Tour-proven heel-and-toe sole weighting technology increases stability and forgiveness.
• Mid-milled face with vibration dampening technology offers soft feel with 3.5 degrees of loft to deliver optimum roll characteristics.

The Futura 5.5M comes standard with a black Matador mid-size grip and will reach stores in the USA on August 25 with a price of $379.

Futura X7M

The newest version of Scotty Cameron Putter is the Futura X7M will be available in 33, 34 or 35 inches and there is also a Dual Balance model available in the standard 38 inch length.

The Futura X7M mallet is also face-balanced and features a similar multi-material construction but is built with a stainless steel bar in the back of the clubhead that provides even more MOI and forgiveness than the standard X7 model.

True to its Futura heritage, Scotty’s new Futura X7M offers remarkable stability, forgiveness and feel. And like the original Futura, this new design could improve your putting stats from the get-go. It aligns like a dream.

With precision milled sight lines and visual cues like the all-new pop-through rail alignment system, touring professionals have stated that it simply melts into the green, setting up perfectly.

Scotty’s new face-sole core technology and the “bar-back” wrap-around stainless steel body moves weight out from the center of gravity to achieve forgiving, high MOI. This translates to a greater resistance to twist and a larger sweet spot. From alignment to balance to its multi-material construction, Scotty’s new Futura X7M is a game-changer.

With X7M I wanted a round shape with a crisp and sharp look for alignment. X7 and X7M have a lot of the same features but the X7M is manipulated and made with a back weight for more MOI – thus the name, X7M, where the ‘M' stands for MOI,
